Fascinated by human behaviour, I am very conscious about how we – as a collective – shape / co-create the world we live in.
It is my purpose to be a force for good and to make a difference in the lives of the people I meet and the systems they are part of, both professionally and personally.
With more than 15 years of experience in leading teams and marketing projects in financial organisations, I shifted in 2013 my attention and focus to the fields of leadership development and cultural change. Through designing and delivering transformation programs in various businesses and industries, including Banking and Finance, Healthcare, Pharma, Consultancy, Manufacturing, and Industry I am able to fulfil my life’s purpose through my work.

A broad range of interests brought me to unusual places in my youth and crafted my curiosity and open view on the world. Discovering different sports, activities, meeting new people and later, when I was old enough to travel the world on my own and with friends, exploring new countries and cultures. I loved sailing at a very young age. Being on the water provided me with an unparalleled sense of freedom. I learned to trust my instincts, my choices, my talents and I felt completely in sync with nature and the elements – especially when the weather was rough.

I love to work with different colleagues, cultures, and people. I feel humbled by the fact that not only the leaders and organizations benefit from the transformational programs we deliver, but they also have an impact on their families and personal lives.
Style
My main focus is on increasing trust, connection and a sense of purpose, since that leads to increased performance and success for leaders, their teams, and their organizations. Assisting people to accelerate their personal and professional growth is key to my approach. Clients compliment me with my ability to create an atmosphere of openness and trust, so that deep transformation can take place and great results can be achieved.
Qualifications
As I enjoy being in nature I love to facilitate Wilderness Leadership Trails in Europe with the Foundation of Natural Leadership. I hold a Master’s degree in Communication Science / Marketing from the University of Amsterdam, and am a certified coach (PCC-level) with the International Coach Federation, a MBTI (level II) practitioner, a certified CTT consultant in Cultural Transformation Tools by the Barrett Values Centre, hold a System Dynamics in Organizations certificate at the Bert Hellinger Institute as well as a certificate in Family Constellations, and am an accredited GBA (Gita Bellin & Associates) Facilitator of Transformation.

It is my purpose is to inspire and connect people to see whole, within themselves and their surroundings, so we can humanize our context and transform our choices, creating a world where all living being can thrive.
Finding my purpose was a journey by itself :-). Having been a business and HR executive for 20 years in the global energy and chemical sector, I was on a steep career path in the corporate context when a realization hit me; My drive and ambition only gotten me far and I always felt the need to push and drive forward continuously. And where was this all leading to? When I left a role, “it” did not continue. A change was imminent. Longing for more effortlessness and flow, a new path emerged through leaving my executive role and my corporate career, and clients asking me to support their organizational culture transformations, My new contribution was born.

Now, I work with CEO’s and leaders in global organizations connecting people to their core values. These leaders want to make a difference on a bigger whole and believe they can change their context. My facilitation encourages ownership of current mindsets and behaviors impacting how the organization works and evolves. Through owning this, leaders grow more conscious of limiting realities they create for themselves and for others. With this heightened awareness, leaders transform the way they work, collaborate across boundaries and create a collective culture. Together we pave the way for others to do the same. This way they empower, re-new and develop themselves and impact the people and environment they work in.
We can create our context to the extend that we know ourselves.
Some of the things which formed me to the person I am today?
- My many moves from country to country during my childhood opened my eyes to many different culture and place.
- My fathers knowing that everyone and everything on this earth is worthy of attention in equally the same way.
- My mothers empathy and deep sensing into another person’s way of being. She thought me that everyone has their own way of seeing the world.
- That I have seen that it is possible to create anything when you put your mind to it.
- My name, Welmoed – good mood, courage, a rock in the stream meaning someone you can always count on
Key in my facilitation of transformation is creating a safe space for everything and everyone to emerge and acknowledge as is. Bringing a unique and powerful blend of result-orientation and focus, a disarming attitude and deep empathy. Looking at leadership dilemmas in a systemic way seeing everything as information within oneself and with the larger context. Using myself as my instrument to assess visible and hidden dynamics a the various levels and uncanny ability to bringing this to the surface in a palpable way.
