How we influence our brainwave states to create flow

This TedEx Video of Annette Gudde (2015) describes the power of flow and how our brains get into that state. Being in flow is being one with your environment. This state allows us to do amazing things.  For individual leaders and collectively creating something that was not there before, a new possibility. It creates a collective heartbeat, a cadence and effortless movement. Imagine what this could be in an organization when you would be moving as one.

Watch the video and be inspired.

Try out an experience of flow

  • Relax your tongue/jaw to relax your thoughts.
  • Close your eyes or go to a dark environment and then:
  • Listen to and accept thoughts that are sparked and come up
  • Move into the action

“I believe we are more than we think. I believe that together we are more that we think. And I feel this is something to think about.”

Annette Gudde

At ClearWater, in nature flow is the path of least resistance. We know that flow can unleash the power of every person individually and collectively. By creating a state of flow possibilities emerge that were not there before.

Books on flow creating heart movement:

  • The High Performance Mind (2004) – Anna Wise
  • The art of the impossible (2021) – Steven Kotler
  • Link to nature; Rivers flow the path of least resistance. Each river flows towards a lake, ocean, underground. It is all connected. There is a natural balance and collective nature of and in a river.
